Humpty Sharma not good for Alia in real life

Before the release of her next film Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, Alia Bhatt talks about her career and personal life with a news website and we present some of the highlights of the discussion with her.

In Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania you are dulhania of Varun Dhawan, what type of husband you want in real life?
First of all he should be my best friend so that he can understand me. He should have the spirit to do something in life. He should not have any problem with my ambitions and wishes. But Humpty is not of that type person, he does not have any ambitions, he is cute and caring.

What is about your on and off relation with Varun Dhawan?
Very tough to define Varun and mine relation. I think he is a naughty angel.

Is your character in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania inspired by Kareena Kapoor?
No, actually my character in HSKD is a great fan of Kareena Kapoor. It is very different, it is a funny film. I’m playing role of Kavya Pratap in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania who lives in Ambala, she lives very cool. My role in Highway was intense while it is cool and bold in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania movie. 

What kind of criticism you have suffered from?
When my first movie was released people had criticized that I don’t know acting. That is why I proved in Highway that I can do acting and I have come here to become actress, not only to become eye candy. See your success can become your worst enemy. Some people wait for something to go wrong.

How do you feel when so many jokes are cracked on you?
I like it because it proves that I’m in people’s mind. So many people are talking about me these talks are moving consistently. You see so many jokes are cracked on Tiger Shroff but his popularity has gone up. I have gone very famous through such types of jokes as well.

Who is the greatest support system in your filmy career?
My younger sister Shaheen, she is my anchor and the greatest support because she understands me the most so I can share every talk with her. She is not in this industry but whenever she talks about me or my work, she does that in a fair manner. Her ideas are very sweet and whatever she says is logical.

Do you think yourself more responsible as daughter towards your parents?
Of course, recently I, mom and dad went for dinner when he took out his card for bill payment by that time I had already paid the money. He got angry and said, “How can you pay for me?” But I didn’t paid attention to his talk. I feel I could something for them. Mom loves London a lot and thus wants to purchase a house for her in London. My dreams are unlimited. 

What is your fan following after three hit films?
I have lot of fans but children are my fans in huge numbers. Many little girls are my fans and I feel satisfied on seeing them nearby.

As an actress, you have managed success in such a short time. Being a girl, what are your unfulfilled desires?
In future I would like to open an old-age home, which is a charity organization. I have been very close to my grandparents. From childhood when they came home every Sunday, I used to perform in front of them. I think my acting and dancing training has been done from there. I'd like to go for trekking on the mountains alone.
