A brief introduction of Siddharth Shukla (Angad Bedi)

When Siddharth Shukla was dancing as a contestant in Color’s TV reality show Jhalak Dikhlaja, Karan Johar who was judging that show caught him. He found the ability in Siddharth Shukla to move from TV to theaters. And so, he is there in Karan Johar’s next Bollywood movie Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania releasing this Friday on 11th July. He is performing the role of Angad Bedi in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania whose role in the movie is not less than anyone else. He is one of the star casts of Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania movie alongside Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt in the lead role and Ashutosh Rana as another star cast for the film.

Siddharth has felt the difference between TV and movies. According to him, how well acting you do in TV, people will forget it soon but in movies, people remember it for decades to come. Movies are made with patience but there is immense pressure of time on TV and that is why work is done quickly. Remembering long dialogues on the sets of Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania shooting was never a worry for this new Bollywood debutant. It was a left hand work for him.
Siddharth Shukla wanted to start his acting career through films only but he could only manage to start his TV acting career in 2008. Although he was a part of a movie ‘I Am In Love’ released in 2007 but neither the movie nor his role could initiate a significant fire which was needed to give him momentum. He has done six television shows so far including Jhalak Season 6. It is the TV which taught him the lessons of acting and made him a star among his followers.
In Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania movie Siddharth Shukla is playing the role of Angad Bedi who is a NRI who comes to see Kavya (Alia) to marry her. Angad is an innocent person in HSKD movie. According to him, though his role is small but people like it after seeing Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania movie. Although he has got film offers in hand but has no intention to leave TV. He will do both films and TV but how long he could manage both of them, only time will tell. Read Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania review.
