Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania is a typical romantic movie

Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania lead actress Alia Bhatt wishes to work on a script written by her dad Mahesh Bhatt. But Alia also says that she does not want to enter any film forcibly. When Mahesh Bhatt will write a script for her, then only she will work in that movie. Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’s Kavya Pratap Singh also said that she wants to come on the screen along with her mom Soni Razdan and she also has a script for that. She is very excited for that script and it could be possible that both these mother and daughter are seen together in a film. Alia Bhatt was recently seen busy in the promotion of her film Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania releasing this week. 

Talking to a News website she said ‘Hamari Adhoori Kahani’ was not written for her. Film character is also much matured. She said, “I want Papa to write script for me but this is not true that whatever he will write I will give him my nod. I will work only when I find that script good. One should not become a part of a film unnecessarily.” 

Alia Bhatt started the year 2014 with Imitaz Ali’s Highway through which she gathered lot of praise from the audience and film critics for her acting. Later she was seen in Chetan Bhagat’s novel based movie ‘2 States’ opposite to Arjun Kapoor in which she played a role of typical Tamil girl. This week also Alia Bhatt is going to be seen in Karan Johar’s Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania movie playing the role of a Punjabi middle class girl Kavya Pratap Singh opposite to her close friend and Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan. 

Alia Bhatt said, “Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania is the most funny and entertaining movie of my career so far. Kavya is a filmy type of character and is a huge fan of Kareena Kapoor Khan in the film. I won’t say Student of the Year and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania to be similar movies because HSKD is a very bold film. Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania is a typical romantic movie which is the base of our industry.” She added, “I don’t think I shall get Highway like movies every month. But whenever I will get Highway like movies, I will opt for it but this doesn’t mean that I won’t do other type of roles. ‘2 States’ was also a romantic movie but its subject was serious and my role was also of mature nature which was which was very different for me. To play a Tamilian role was not easy for me. My role is to keep people excited and not t bore them.”

Alia said, “I know Varun Dhawan from the time of Student of the Year and since then we have been in contacts with each other. Movies like Main Tera Hero suits Varun a lot. He is best in comedy. But after spending so much of time with him I have realized that whenever he plays a character, he thinks like that character and not like Varun. I forgot myself while playing the role in Highway. There were many such scenes in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania film when I had to only give expressions. Highway taught me to walk on the floor. I learnt a lot during the shooting of Highway. I have slept at such places where people will think 10 times before sleeping. Highway movie changed me a lot. It was a different experience to play the role of an Ambala girl in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania movie. My father wants me to do Highway like movies. He used to make such type of movies before. “
